Welcome,
I’m really happy to have you back!
Whether you work in or enjoy the world of beauty and personal care as much as I do, this post is packed with trends. Or should we call them realities? Let’s be honest, these are no longer “new”—they’ve all come to stay.
Today we’re focusing on everything related to the face. In future posts, I’ll share more about the body, hair, etc.
The “no make-up” makeup.
That’s right! Gone are the days of makeup routines with a thousand steps and products. Now we love the “natural” look. And if reusing products is a bonus, that’s even better, because a simple routine is not only the most comfortable, but apparently also the most attractive.
I’d say it’s the core trend, since many of the following emerged thanks to it.
The era of nudes.
Most lipstick sales now come down to earthy tones, nudes, and pinks. Reds? We’ll let those slide! But we say bye-bye to cool, intense shades like magentas or burgundies.
Prepping your skin isn’t just for big events.
That’s right! It’s a no-go to grab your makeup brush without first hydrating your skin. These days, even if a product doesn’t meet your expectations, the market will tell you you didn’t “prep” your skin properly.
Enter primers, which are now increasingly present in every beauty brand.
When it comes to removing makeup, double cleansing has become almost mandatory (even for those with a simple routine), and makeup remover wipes are a thing of the past. Thanks to social media, we all know they’re only for those super long nights 😉
Brows: thick and natural.
It’s true, it’s been a while since ultra-thin, overly plucked brows were in style. There was a time when brow soap or wax was all the rage, and the higher you could shape them, the more like a model you looked.
Today, we avoid such extremes; the way we fill in our brows has changed. Now we simply fill in small sparse areas, without forcing a very strict shape. Fixing gels are now sold en masse.
Does this mean you have to change the way you wear yours? Of course not! I’m just sharing what’s “in” right now—but you know, trends are trends because they’re not forever 😉
Glow. Something we love.
We said bye-bye to those matte looks loaded with sealing/powdering products a long time ago.
In recent years, the launch of cream-based products has exploded: glow-finish sprays, glosses instead of traditional lipsticks, hydrating facial mists, and spot sealing for just the concealer or T-zone.
Blush, blush, and more blush! Never enough.
If you had to choose just one product, which would it be? Many have crowned blush as the #1 must-have, and girl, it’s trending.
Blush is no longer just for the cheeks: dab a little on your temples up to your forehead for a bronzed, dimensional look. Add a touch on your eyelids and in the center of your nose for that “cold makeup” effect (a rosy nose from the cold) or “sunkissed” glow, and finally, if you have a product that works, just a smidge on the lips for that juicy effect.
Lips: the new focal point of our face.
It’s no secret that beauty standards have shifted in recent years. Lips are one of our biggest fixations today.
Bigger and fuller (as is common) or thinner… the idea is to draw all the attention to this captivating feature on our face.
Marketers know it well! And that’s why campaigns like:

And that’s all for now, my beauty lovers! Keep rocking these trends, and remember—whether you’re staying ahead of the curve or creating your own, beauty is all about expressing yourself. Until next time! 💋
